Consumerization is rapidly changing the landscape of the business mobile workforce. Laptops are being replaced by tablets and smart phones. Many organizations are jumping into the mobile revolution with both feet, creating the need for IT Security leaders and practitioners to design solutions that enable the safe use of mobile devices in the Enterprise, also known as Enterprise Mobility. But what is Enterprise Mobility?
The speaker will not only define enterprise mobility, but share a high-level view of the concepts comprising this new space including: mobile device management ("MDM"), the primary threats facing a mobile workforce, and mobile application security. Attendees will leave with information they can use to help define potential problems in their own enterprises, recommendations for mitigating mobile threats, and best practices to consider as organizations port existing applications to mobile platforms.
